誓いの言葉

結婚式のメインといえば、やっぱり誓いのことば。
アメリカでは、どんな結婚式にも誓いのことばがあります。そもそも誓わないと結婚が成立しません。誓いのことばは自分で考えても、牧師さんにまかせてもどちらでもよいです。一般的な誓いのことばはこんな感じなので参考にしてください。

■カソリック方式■

I (名前) take you (相手の名前) for my lawful wife/husband,
to have and to hold from this day forward, for better,
for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health,
until death do us part.

個人的に、最後の「アンティルデスデューアスパート」っていう
所の発音が舌にからんで気持ちよい。

■プロテスタント方式■

I (名前) take thee (相手の名前) to be my wedded husband/wife,
to have and to hold, from this day forward,
for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part,
according to God's holy ordinance;
and thereto I pledge thee my faith/myself to you."

■僕らの場合■

I (名前) take (相手の名前) as my partner in marriage.
To share my life openly with you.
To speak the truth to you in love.
To honor and tenderly care for you.
To cherish and encourage your fulfillment.
Through all the changes of our lives.

んーーなっとく。英語だとなんで妙に重みがあるんでしょうねえ。外国映画でも誓いの言葉の場面がよく出るので、参考にしてかっちょいい言葉を選んでください。
